hal lenoard puts out a pretty good one if your looking for alot of theroy and real beginner stuff also if you buy a first act guitar they come with a pretty good book although the guitar is crap
One that I have used for my students is “Fun with the Guitar” by Mel Bay. Okay, I know the songs in it are old-fashioned, but they are well-known and easy to catch on to. It’s a really good beginner book.
