I’m a guitar music education major and I was wondering what price would be good for a 45min-hour guitar lesson? One of my students gives me $25-30 and I drive to them. Does that seem too low or just fine?

Depending on your location, that sounds about right. If you’re in metropolitan New England or California, it’s too low. Once you have your degree, and especially if you go on with guitar performance or specialize in guitar pedagogy, you will probably want to raise it. Until you have more credentials and a studio reputation, I’d leave it as is.
Well, i had piano lessons for $25 for 45 min. So, Yea around $25-$30 is about good.
