yes, that is plenty. The thing is, you must do the homework that he gives you and when you come into the lesson you know how to play it. So when the lesson starts you will go over what the homework is and move on to something new. You must always practice at home, if you want to be good. The lesson is for him to give you advice and listen to you play. If you don’t practice at home, then you won’t get anywhere.
The point of the lessons are to learn and make sure you have been practicing right. The real advancments come through the hours you spend outside the “classroom” where you apply what you have learned in it.
It seems too me that is not much time….I would think 1-2 hours a week would be better if you can afford it.
